Departure Instructions

• Launder all used towels and bedding and re-make beds
• Empty dishwasher and put away dishes
• Clean out fireplace if used
• Bring home any food or beverages you brought with you. Unopened bottles of beer and wine are the exception
• Vacuum carpets/floors
• Make sure bathrooms are clean
• Draw shades on front windows
• In winter, please keep bedroom closet doors open - the air exchanger vents are in there and keeps the condensation off the windows
• Make sure projector is unplugged
• Turn off hot water heater breaker #7
• Turn living room thermostat down to 56 degrees
• Turn small bedroom thermostat down to 56 degrees
• Turn basement thermostat down to 56 degrees
• Empty vacuum cleaner
• Empty all garbage cans and take garbage/recycling with you
• Make sure all lights and appliances are off
• Recharge the water softener. Please do not run any more water once the softener is on
• Lock all doors (sliding, screen porch and deck)
• Replace key in Lockbox
